I have had a great experience so far it id ine of my favorite nursing jobs that i have had. I feel safe and supported at work w/ the team I work with and all the clear policies and protocols. Also I truly like are cliental at my store they are very friendly and its a pleasure to tx them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all make it a point to show each other how much we appreciate one another. By working as ateam to keep the clinic clean and stocked. Also we take the time to make small talk and joke around to create a pleasant working environment.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing clinets skin progress and building a strong relationship w/ clients. It gives me credibility they really begin to trust the RN's and im always so flattered when they bring in their children for txs or there spouses or parents. It is very exciting and rewarding.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
That they are approachable and do not blame shift issues that arise back on to the nurses. I really appreciate that I can collaborate with my manager and problem solve issues together. I feel heard and appreciated. At previous jobs it was always the nurses fault and no one was solution driven.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Market prices for Asthetic RNs in CA are in. The $50/hr-80/hr range currenly and inflation is 8.9 % currently. Skin Laundry has raised its prices and none or the RNs have received raises. Tips are not a reliable source of income. The RNs need raises we are in high demand right now as well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The communication is strong. We have multiple people we can reach out to for answers on unique issues that arise and i really appreciate when NPs, Drs, lead RN are all available to reach out to for answers.
