At first it wasnt too bad , at this point it is exhausting and irritating how irresponsible administration/ management is and how they require more work for little pay and in less and less time. Not feasible to complete the tasks requires responsibly without jeopardizing care to residents.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Listen and provide compensation to employees. Take care of this "family" at sunrise.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Pay attention to the needs of residents and team members. Lots of work for little pay, taking advantage of team members. During covid stopped using PPE, no hand sanitizer in necessary areas. Horrible.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Takes advantage of caregiver with out proper compensation, on top of being a caregiver, witness, buser, housekeeper, laundry, make beds, take out trash. Its not easy to give the care residents needs on top of all these responsibilities.
