Working here has given me the ability to sell, while not dealing with a micromanaging team. I have great in work relationships and can trust to always get help. I do wish the pay and the promotional opportunities were more available, however the job, role, and team are wonderful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Annual raises or some form of sliding scale for pay.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Management, At least under my manager specifically, Cares about the workers and reaches out to help whenever they need. While other departments do seem to have issues, our department's happiness and care seem to be high for most workers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team cares about each other. We have been able to add another level of enjoyment amongst the group here and there throughout the week which can improve the morale of remote work. Anyone can ask for help or insight and will be answered usually within minutes.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
This company has given the chance for many different cultures and backgrounds to come together via remote work. Instead of it being limited to just one state, I am able to learn about the nuances and culture behind many different areas. This has benefited my job and personal life immensely.
What makes you most happy at work?
The best thing about my job, that makes me enjoy clocking in, is the level of trust given to most employees. Micromanaging can be incredibly negative to mental health and morale, leading to a much higher turnover rate. This company trusts workers within reason. Doing this leads to better work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Department pay seems to be sporadic between different departments. There are other roles that do almost the same work as each other that are paid $3-$4 differences at start. With knowing this it can be a little disheartening after awhile working here for less than a new hire in a similar field.
