The work itself was OK, sometimes pretty boring though. The quality of the officer leadership is very low. Most of them all 'know' someone and that's how they got promoted. The CEO is just an awful human.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Less 'old boy' network and more reliance on merit. At Xcel, it's who you know.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Way too much 'who you know' to get promoted. HR is a complete disaster and can't make a decision to save their lives.
