Quit passing the cost of business onto the customers as often as possible. For many people, xcel is the only option, which basically leaves us in an abusive relationship with the power company
The company has some talent. There is a ceding culture that accepts performers and laggards who are not performing or showing any presents due to DEI. Frankly, as employee and customer this needs to be cleaned up in transmission and Comm Ops. This has cost the company Billions of dollars yearly.
Leadership of Operations Architecture is incompetent.

What benefits does Xcel Energy provide?

I'm less certain on this as a former contractor but I can tell you I know their pay charts and they are extremely competitive salaries.
What's the company culture like at Xcel Energy?
Top Employee Response
Xcel Energy has perhaps an above average positive culture of innovation and improvement that is sometimes lost on its way down. I believe management should be more aggressive and empowered, but I also believe they don't listen to ground level truth as much as they should. Still, all in all I have a largely positive impression of the company. I'd work there again and in fact may do so. I still apply for positions from time to time if they are in line with my interests. Oh. And like I suspect many utilities both IOU and municipal, the leadership is aging rapidly and they have utterly failed to develop the next generation of leadership for internal sourcing. Eventually they'll start pulling leadership in from the outside and will hemorrhage knowledge base. But that is most companies in America today. Nothing out of the ordinary.
