Squarespace makes work flexible for its employees in a variety of ways –generous PTO for personal and family needs, flexible work opportunities, resources for passion projects and a sabbatical program for tenured employees. We believe employees need quality time to unplug and recharge for their own well-being and satisfaction. Through our flexible PTO policy, we encourage team members to take the time off they need to recharge and be their best. We also offer up to 20 weeks of paid family leave (or local equivalent). In 2021 we designed a flexible work policy which outlines two distinct work classifications – Officespace and Homespace. In the same way that there isn’t a one size fits all solution for our customers, there isn’t a one size fits all approach that will work for every individual and every role. So we have empowered individuals, their managers, and department leaders to determine the appropriate approach to flexible work for them. As part of Wish’s flexible work plan, over 1,000 employees have the option to fully return to the office, work from home, or a hybrid of both. Wish’s Flex Work plan provides employees with opportunities to better manage their daily activities outside of work. Based on their daily schedule and location, they can choose to go to the office or work from home voluntarily. Their performance is evaluated by impact, not by the hours they spend at the office. For example, employees could go to the gym during lunch, run errands, or drop off or pick up their kids from school on the days they are working from home. Also, if you choose to go into a local office you do not have to worry about where to order food or where to go grab a coffee. Everything is provided for employees right there in the office thanks to our amazing Workplace Team. In addition to our regular holiday schedule, Veracode offers a ‘Take What You Need PTO’ policy, allowing Veracoders to take time to spend with their family and friends and disconnect from work. In 2020, we launched company recharge days, which allow for the entire organization to switch off and focus on their own wellbeing. For individuals that are expanding their family, we also offer generous parental leave, allowing parents to spend time with their new family members. On a day-to-day basis, Veracoders enjoy a lot of flexibility in how they manage their time and work allowing for very easy adjustments to accommodate non-work commitments.
