How do you celebrate your culture internally?
At LexisNexis Legal & Professional, our culture is grounded in purpose — to advance the rule of law and shape a more just world — and powered by our people, who bring that mission to life every day. Across our global community, we celebrate a culture that values connection, inclusion, and innovation in everything we do.
Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) unite colleagues across geographies and identities to build belonging and amplify diverse voices. Supported by our ERG Community Platform, employees collaborate globally, share experiences, and co-create programs that make an impact both inside and outside the workplace. This work is reinforced by our Global Inclusion Council, which drives our strategy to ensure everyone feels they belong and can contribute to a successful business mission, and by Inclusion Volunteers who help champion inclusion through action.
Through LexisNexis Cares, our global corporate responsibility program, employees receive paid volunteer days to support causes close to their hearts — from mentoring students, to advancing access to justice or helping at animal shelters, working at local parks, or soup kitchens. Our matching gift program amplifies those individual passions, matching employee charitable donations up to $1,000 per year, so that giving back becomes a shared experience that strengthens our sense of purpose and community. And our Thrive Wellbeing program promotes physical, mental, financial, and community wellbeing, helping every employee feel supported both personally and professionally. Growth is another hallmark of our culture. Through mentoring and coaching programs, including specialized mentoring in technology and technology leadership programs, employees connect across levels and disciplines to share knowledge, develop new skills, and explore emerging innovations.
This spirit of learning extends to our AI and data science communities, where we empower employees to explore new possibilities, share best practices, and spark the next wave of legal innovation. This spirit of learning extends across our organization, where every employee — regardless of role — is empowered to explore how AI innovation can unlock new possibilities, share best practices, and spark the next wave of legal transformation. From wellbeing initiatives to mentoring and innovation labs, every program reflects our belief that when people feel supported, connected, and inspired, they can truly thrive — and together, we can make the world a more just place.
What impact do external awards or recognitions have on your culture? How do you promote these accolades?
External recognition reinforces what we already know — that our people are driving extraordinary innovation and impact across the globe. Awards like the 2025 CODiE Awards for AI and Data Innovation, where Protégé™ was named Best AI Tool for Lawyers and Lex Machina® won Best Data Analytics & Insights Solution, highlight how our collective curiosity and creativity are shaping the future of authoritative legal AI workflows. These accolades instill pride and strengthen our shared sense of purpose. They remind every employee that their contributions — whether developing advanced Legal AI solutions, supporting customers or mentoring peers — play a vital role in our success and in advancing the rule of law worldwide.
Achievements are widely celebrated, sharing them through internal communications and our global intranet news hub, as well as externally through press releases and social channels. Recognition from peers and industry experts validates the excellence of our products, but equally important, it celebrates the people behind them — those who live our values of innovation, integrity, and impact every day. Our strong engagement scores and employee advocacy reflect this pride. Awards are more than milestones; they’re a reflection of how our purpose-driven innovation, global collaboration, and shared passion for progress make LexisNexis a truly remarkable place to work — and a company that continues to shape a more just world.

In all my years in the professional world, I have never seen a company so focused on culture and staff recognition. Here are some examples.
The Game-Changer Awards recognize innovative individuals for their contributions in front of regional, geo, and global leaders.

How do you celebrate your culture internally?
At Vertafore, we believe culture thrives when people feel seen, valued, and connected, and we celebrate that spirit in everything we do.
A great example is Vertafore’s recent AI Immersion Week. This was a companywide, week-long event that brought teams together to learn and experiment with AI. Employees shared ideas, discovered creative ways to use AI, and supported each other in trying something new. The week wrapped up with friendly awards that celebrated teamwork, innovation, and enthusiasm. The awards recognized everything from the most creative use of AI to the most passionate learner. It was a lively, collaborative experience that showed how much we value curiosity and connection across our teams.
We also celebrate our culture every day through RAVE, our employee recognition program that empowers team members to recognize coworkers who embody The Vertafore Way. Through RAVE, employees can give and receive points for demonstrating our core principles and redeem them for meaningful rewards—keeping appreciation front and center in our daily work.
Based on employee recognitions through RAVE, we also have a quarterly winner for each Vertafore Way pillar and celebrate them with a company-wide email, digital signage in our offices, and publicly on LinkedIn.
Our Employee Resource Groups and Interest Groups further energize our culture with themed events, volunteer opportunities, and shared passions that bring people together across teams and locations.
At Vertafore, connection, recognition, and collaboration aren’t just values; they’re how we live our culture every day.
What impact do external awards or recognitions have on your culture? How do you promote these accolades?
External awards shine a light on the incredible people and culture at Vertafore, and they serve as public recognition of the great environment everyone creates and sustains here every day. They reinforce our pride, fuel engagement, and remind every team member that their contributions make a real difference.
We make sure to celebrate these wins across the company—sharing them on our digital signage in offices, in our companywide weekly newsletter, on employee lock screens, and through companywide communications so everyone can join in the excitement.
Externally, we highlight these accolades on our social media channels and careers page to attract others who share our values. Each recognition is more than an award — it is a reflection of the passion, innovation, and collaboration that defines life at Vertafore.

At Golden Hippo, our culture isn’t just what we say, it’s what we do every single day. We recognize individual and team wins in real time through Spot Bonuses, Win of the Week highlights, and Town Hall shoutouts, because speed of implementation matters and great work deserves fast celebration.
We believe the best idea wins, no matter where it comes from. That’s why our Pitch Contests are open to everyone across the company, giving any team member the chance to bring bold ideas forward, spark innovation, and help shape our next breakthrough ad or strategy. Transparency is another core part of how we operate. Through our anonymous suggestion box, anyone can submit questions for our executive team to address weekly, keeping communication open, honest, and truly two-way.
We keep things personal, too. Every employee gets a handwritten birthday card; because even in a fast-moving, innovative environment, human connection always comes first. We also share promotions, career milestones, and team accomplishments across social channels and bring people together through virtual and in-person events, strengthening our sense of community no matter where we’re working from.
Altogether, this blend of recognition, transparency, innovation, and rapid action ensures our culture isn’t just talked about—it’s lived, felt, and built by all of us.
What impact do external awards or recognitions have on your culture? How do you promote these accolades?
External awards and recognitions reinforce the culture we practice every day at Golden Hippo, and are proof that our innovation, collaboration, and commitment to excellence are being noticed far beyond our own teams. These accolades energize our employees, validate the work they’re doing, and strengthen pride in the culture they help create.
We promote these wins widely. Internally, we highlight them in Town Halls, Slack channels, and our company newsletter, always spotlighting the teams and individuals who made the achievement possible. Externally, we share awards through social platforms and our Careers site to showcase the people, values, and mindset that make Golden Hippo stand out.
These recognitions also hold us accountable to our cultural commitments. They give us a benchmark to measure against and fuel momentum to continue innovating, piloting bold ideas, and investing in initiatives that strengthen our culture. They remind everyone that culture is a company-wide achievement and that every team member contributes to making Golden Hippo an exceptional place to work. Ultimately, external validation motivates us to keep raising the bar, living our values in action, and building a culture we’re proud to sustain and share with the world.
