The Average Tech Worker Takes at Least an Hour for Lunch

It may seem like everyone around you is shoving food down their throats while glued to their desk chairs. That’s not actually the case.

In fact, 53% of workers in tech say they generally take an hour or more for lunch, according to the latest results of an ongoing query by Comparably. That’s more than the 47% of workers outside of tech who do the same.

Just 1 in 5 workers eats lunch at their desk, according to the results.
