Why does your company make the world a better place?

Cambium Learning Group encourages all of their employees to pursue volunteer activities specific to education that enhance and serve the communities in which they live and work – which is not defined as just a local community but encompasses school districts and education settings from a global perspective.

Cambium gives full-time employees 24 hours of Volunteer Service Time (VST) and part-time employees 12 hours of VST per calendar year to spend volunteering in education settings within their communities. In Q4 of 2022 alone, 270 Cambium employees from 36 states did 1,700 hours of VST.

In today’s world, electricity generated by fossil fuels accounts for 75% of carbon dioxide emissions. At Everlight Solar, we believe in using solar energy to save people money, improve lives, and clean up the environment. Combating climate change is in our DNA. The more we can democratize solar and make it available to the mass market, the better we can make our environment. We are also expanding our fleet of electric vehicles! Across the eight states we operate in, we are proud to combat climate change with every installation to achieve a cleaner tomorrow.

Additionally, Everlight is deeply committed to our Midwest roots; we are fueled by our community. We love volunteering and educating youth on the power of green energy and sponsoring local youth sports teams and events.
