Employees are typically seen as a liability instead of an asset. If upper management can save money by letting someone go and spreading the work out on the rest of the team, they will do so.

There's just a lot of initiatives, and it's awesome that we have so much we want to do. But some are so unrealistic and it's not doable because skipping steps creates more problems, but it's very high-stress job - there's a ton expected of you when you literally can only do so much
