The leadership team should value lower level employees more instead of only caring about higher ups. They also need to be more communicative of company's goals and HOW they are going to reach them. Communication between departments is lacking at times.

My salary is low compared to the industry standard and after talking to others within the company about their salaries I know that I am being underpaid even within the company.

pay is lacking, retention is hard when people leave bc of burnout, and positions are not backfilled. it creates a cycle that leads to more burn out and more people leaving.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Many of my coworkers have a deep, cultural passive-aggressive nature and aren't emotionally equipped to handle direct conversations or to be disagreed with. This causes people who are assertive to be perceived as blunt, harsh, unfeeling and unkind.
They are great to work with but we are going through a Pandamic.

Communication is key. Simply responding to an email goes a long way towards letting the sending know the message has been received. We have far too many people at the company that are either overworked in that they simply can't respond or they don't respond because we're working remotely or other.

I think time management and workload organization is the biggest challenge. The best way to have a neat workflow is to organize the day by hour.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
In ICS, there seems to be lack of support from upper level management to achieve the desired structure. The plan seems to be to execute this from the bottom up when it should be the other way around.
