What do you like best about the leadership team?I highly respect my direct supervisor, for her caring and empathy, both for staff and for our clients.
What are some of the best things about your team?I highly respect members of the team who express compassion for clients and demonstrate commitment to their treatment. I do not respect any who express / demonstrate the opposite.
What makes you most happy at work?I highly enjoy serving the clients, and feeling that I am making some positive difference in their lives.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?The agency gives a maximum of six paid holidays per year (reached after three years of continuous employment). PTO was recently reduced for staff members who have worked the longest. Fee-for-service staff are not paid for mandatory team meetings or training sessions.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?The agency needs to improve treatment and compensation of quality, dedicated staff.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Hire real experts in the field, pay them appropriately, and require staff to learn from them. Make this somewhere people want to have a career, rather than a place any new graduate can get hired.
