In 1995, he served as Marketing Finance Controller of Souza Cruz's head office in the UK. He served as Finance Director of Souza Cruz in Hong Kong from 1997 to 2002, before returning to Brazil in 2000 as Finance Director for Souza Cruz. He served as General Manager of Souza Cruz since 2002. He has wide experience in senior international finance and management roles within the Group. He served as the Chairman of Souza Cruz SA until 2006. Mr. Durante's career in British American Tobacco Plc. He has been in financial management in Brazil, the UK and Hong Kong. He joined British American Tobacco's Brazilian subsidiary Souza Cruz in 1981 and held a number of financial and managerial positions for BAT affiliates in Europe, South American, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He has been Non-Executive Director of Reckitt Benckiser Group plc since December 1, 2013. He served as a Director of Reynolds American Inc. from December 2008 to August 16, 2010. He served as a Director of Companhia Souza Cruz S.A. Mr. Durante holds Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics and Business Administration from Pontificie Universidade Catolica.
