There is a mismatch betweeb the culture described by the CEO and how Principals actually lead on the ground. In my experience those things are worlds apart. I cant believe my two Principals in Birmingham are the only ones 'leading' in such an old-fashioned way. The company needs to grip this.

Awesome mix of people, laid-back yet hard working & honest. Great group of people to work with.

How's the work life balance at Avison Young?
Good in general, but also variable depending on who you report to... most are ok with flexible work hours-working remotely. Good vacation package for salary employees.

Full benefits for W2 employees (401k match, health insurance with optional HSA) Independent contractors (non-salary emp’s - i.e. brokers/agents) can choose to opt in and pay company rates for their own benefits. Can pick and choose from the Benefits package each year.
