What do you like best about the leadership team?
Everyone looks out for each other and recognizes talent.
The leadership team at VelocityEHS listens. They prioritize employees of all ranks to give feedback, and they really empower us to drive change and innovation. It's fun being a part of projects to improve our operations and ultimately help out our customers as best as we can

they are always willing to answer any questions we have and they are very transparent.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I personally enjoy the commission/bonus structure as well as the 401K match. Recently we extended maternity/paternity leave as well, and included things like pet insurance. I don't opt into those benefits specifically, but I know my peers who have newborns and pets are really appreciative of those

What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has diverse backgrounds. A lot of us didn't come from an EHS background, but became passionate about safety and sustainability. We also have diversity with teammates from the US, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and Europe, which brings excellent opinions and ideas to all of our projects

the way we interact with each other. we are all there for each other, we all route for each other, and were all there for each other. another great thing is we go out together outside of work because we truly enjoy one another

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The biggest word to describe our culture is SUPPORTIVE. We have many clubs and groups you can join on day 1 of working here; and if there's an opportunity to create a new club or group to get involved with, our leadership will do what it takes to help create or fund the new idea

What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview process was geared towards learning who I am, what I value, what motivates me, and why I want to work for an EHS software company. What I didn't know at the time, is that the interview process helped VelocityEHS pair me with a boss that thought would be the best fit for me

What makes you most happy at work?
My grandpa was a carpenter and died from mesolthelioma; a cancer caused by over-exposure to asbestos. My first job at VelocityEHS was selling a software that directly educates and prevents folks from chemical exposures to things like asbestos. So I'm happy at work knowing our customers are safe
