How are layoffs handled in the IT department at BEI?
There has of yet never been a layoff at BEI. It is the belief of the owner, that layoffs come from poor management, not employee work.
How innovative is BEI?
BEI lets all employees submit ideas for projects. An executive committee choses projects based upon these ideas. Any process that is found to help is added to "developer's toolbox".
How are the career growth opportunities on the IT team at BEI?
BEI encourages all of its employees to be the best that they can be. All employees are peer graded based upon the projects that they work on. Growth is based upon the work that has been done previously. Employees are given various jobs inside a project and over all evaluation comes at mile stones.
How's the morale at BEI?
Excellent
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at BEI?
Excellent, the management made me feel comfortable and the entire process was not nearly as stressful as it has been at other businesses.
How do I do well in an interview at BEI?
Be yourself, and be prepared.
What does the leadership team at BEI need to get better at?
Nonexistent, unsupportive, directionless.
