Very positive so far. The team chemistry is nice and resonates even over Skype calls.
They will always listen to your ideas, thoughts, opinions, etc. and genuinely take it all into consideration. Everyone is equal in their thoughts, ideas, and feedback.

What are you most excited about working at ParqEx?
ParqEx provides a sustainable solution to a big parking problem. Through making available parking when it is not being used by owners, we are able to not only solve a huge parking problem but also reduce congestion and pollution. This makes me feel good about what I am doing.

I think that it is the opportunity to wear multiple hats. As a startup everyone helps everyone, you may not be well versed in one area but the team gives you the tools to find your true calling. I like the chance to be able to grow without a real cap. The sky is the ceiling!

The sales team leadership at ParqEx is unmatched! We are blessed to have an exceptionally talented and dedicated Director of Sales.

Work pace has some downtime for sure but yet in the startup world and ParqEx as no exception can move at lightspeed, things change in an instant!
As with most early stage companies, it's fast! You won't get bored working at ParqEx....
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at ParqEx?

I'm not sure I would change very much... we have a culture that balances hard work and dedication with camaraderie and fun. Perhaps the only tweak I'd make is to sprinkle in a bit more scheduled social time, but I know they're working on that now.
You can never have enough team events, scheduled or unscheduled.

I would say fairly rigorous compared to other jobs.

The leadership on the Executive team at ParqEx have complementary roles. Our CEO has over 20 yrs of technology and marketing expertise, COO has over 20 yrs of operations expertise and Director of Sales has over 12 years of sales expertise. Collectively, they set strategic focus.

We think that he is great and work really hard to make ParqEx the best company in the world. He really creates a deep connection with each and every employee knowing their story.

The addition of all these new spots coming onto the platform. We are always looking to add more supply so we can have spots across the United States.
What's the interview process like at ParqEx?
Your resume will be screened and then determined if you will be moving forward with a phone interview. Determination of viable candidates will then meet with either Director of Sales, COO and CEO individually or all three.

Vacation policy is very reasonable, if you need to take something off it is usually approved. But be prepared to work twice as hard to make up for lost time!

The best part of my job is the fact that the experience I gain is not only on a professional level but on a personal one too.

I feel pretty secure considering I come in with a great attitude and the determination not to fail.
