Richard Reece — CFO & Executive VP at Acuity Brands

Mr. Richard K. Reece, also known as Ricky, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Acuity Brands, Inc. since December 1, 2005 and September 2006 respectively. Mr. Reece served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Renaissance Lighting, Inc. He served as a Senior Vice President of Acuity Brands Inc. from December 1, 2005 to September 2006. Mr. Reece has over twenty-five years of financial and operational experience. He served for twelve years at Belden, Inc. He served as a Vice President of Finance and as the Chief Financial Officer of Belden, Inc. (formerly Belden CDT Inc. and Cable Design Technologies Corp.) from July 16, 2004 to November 2005. He served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of Belden CDT Inc. from November 2005 to November 30, 2005 and served as the Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Reece served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of Belden Inc. from April 2002 to July 2004. He served as a Vice President of Operations of Belden CDT and as the President of Belden Communications from June 1999 to April 2002 and served as a Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Belden from August 1, 1993 to June 1999. Mr. Reece also served at the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young LLP from 1978 to June 1993 and served as a Partner of Ernst & Young LLP since 1989. He served as a Director of Renaissance Lighting, Inc. He has a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Auburn University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a Member of AICPA, Financial Executives Institute and Financial Council of Manufacturers Alliance.
