No real leaders. Employees are lead to believe they are cared about but are all disposable.
trust their employees a happy customer is a happy employee
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Stock options provide incentives to stay for the medium to long term
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Raises are limited and bonuses are scarce, unless you are part of sales and marketing. Definitely a double standard scale of pay.

The team is dedicated and wants to succeed.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
wrong you ask? everything, you have the wife of the owner thinking she can run the company when the owner doesn't have the backbone to put his foot down & take back the company. it will be in ruins w/in a year if the owner does not step up and take back his company
