Mr. Gary L. Collar has been Senior Vice President at AGCO Corporation since January 2012. Mr. Collar has been General Manager of Asia Pacific & Africa at AGCO Corporation since January 2017 and served as its General Manager of Asia & Pacific since January 2012 until December 30, 2016. Mr. Collar is responsible for all activities and all brands within the region, which includes China, India, Asia, Africa, and Australia - New Zealand. In addition, Mr. Collar leads the development of Business, Distribution Structures and Investments in China for AGCO. Mr. Collar served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Eurpoe, Africa, Middle East Australia & New Zealand at AGCO Corporation from January 2009 to December 2011. He served as General Manager of EAPAC and EAME of AGCO Corporation since January 2004. In addition to his regional responsibility, he also Heads AGCO's global sales and marketing functions. Mr. Collar previously served as AGCO's Senior Vice President and General Manager of Europe, Africa, Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand from 2004 to December 2011. Mr. Collar served as Vice President, Worldwide Market Development for AGCO's Challenger Division from May 2002 to January 2004. He joined AGCO in 2002.From 1994 to 2002, he held various senior executive positions with ZF Friedrichshaven A.G., including Vice President Business Development, North America, from 2001 to 2002 and as the President and Chief Executive Officer of ZF-Unisia Autoparts, Inc., from 1994 to 2001. Before joining AGCO, Mr. Collar held various leadership positions at German-based ZF Friedrichshafen A.G., Pantropic Power Products, Inc. and Caterpillar, Inc. He was employed by Caterpillar and the Caterpillar Dealer organization. He has been a Director at Hillenbrand, Inc. since May 05, 2015. He serves as a Director of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, and serves on the Global Board of Directors of AGCO Finance, Incorporated, a joint venture between AGCO Corporation and De Lage Landen Financial Services, which provides retail and wholesale financing services to AGCO customers globally. He served as Director of Jason Industries, Inc. He served as a Director at Jason Incorporated. Mr. Collar holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University.
