Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem to all be very educated with what the company makes i think them being majority from technical backgrounds helps
They are flexible, no hard deadlines
I like the update videos that come out and share how we're doing across departments and where we are in comparison to our yearly goals.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership does not communicate with the organization. In 3 years, I've received one written communication from an executive.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We have great mental health resources!
Total comp, benefits, work life balance
Benefits (especially health insurance) is good.
Compensation is not competitive in the tech space. I routinely see jobs where the entire pay range is above my current salary.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In the market I can go and easily make 20k more, but when asking for raises you are scoffed at and constantly told that the CEO does not like people who ask for raises.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone I work with is kind, self motivated, and positive. I have made friends for life due to this job.
We have people who are kind and capable. We have a working sense of norms, which could improve, but they guide our work. We are people-centric - or at least we try to be! - and committed to growth.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company tries to keep it fun, and it is really fun until the bills come or you realize you have dreams and goals like owning a starter home that you could never accomplish on your income.
The employees who I get to interact with and get to know are generally willing to pitch in and help for the greater sense of 'team.' I find that we like to learn and to have fun.
We hire truly great people that I look forward to spending time with.

What makes you most happy at work?
Working remotely during the pandemic, but they are taking that away.
The autonomy in my job plus a great manager and team director.
We're a big company with lots of legacy apps so there is lots of maintenance work. The work can't be avoided but I think the company could do much better at aligning work type with interests. Some would prefer the easy work while others want a challenge.
