Since 1993, following the 1991 merger of Square D with Schneider Electric, Mr. Petratis served as Vice President of Operations of EPE Technologies. Since 1994, he served as President at EPE and two years later, he was part of its leveraged buyout of by Management and Financial Partners, resulting in the creation of MGE UPS Systems. Since 1986, he served as the youngest Plant Manager in Square D Lincoln's history at its Raleigh, North Carolina facility. He served as a Director of Quanex Building Products Corporation from July 1, 2008 to July 2013. He served as a Director of Gardner Denver Inc. since July 2004. He is a Board Member of Electrical Safety Foundation. Mr. Petratis serves on the Board of Governors of National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). He held positions on the Board of Directors of the University of California, Irvine Graduate School of Management and the California State (Fullerton) Quality Advisory Board and Project Independence. He was named Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000. Mr. Petratis holds BA in Industrial Management from University of Northern Iowa (USA) in 1981 and an MBA from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California (USA) in 1998.
