Mr. Michael A. Dick, also known as Mike, has been Senior Vice President of Operations and Purchasing at Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. since January 1, 2016. Mr. Dick served as Vice President of Purchasing, Supplier Quality and Manufacturing Engineering at Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. since August, 2012 until January 1, 2016. Mr. Dick joined Allison in July 2006. He served in two key executive positions at Allison from 2006 to the summer of 2012. He served as the Executive Director of Operations and the Plant Manager for the 1000/2000 Series??? manufacturing plant in Indianapolis at Allison. As Executive Director, of Manufacturing Engineering at Allison, he was responsible for the successful launch of the Chennai, India Phase II assembly plant and the relocation of the 3000/4000 Series??? assembly operations in Szentgotthard, Hungry. Before joining Allison, Mr. Dick worked for the New Venture Gear Corporation (the General Motors ??? Chrysler Joint Venture) where he served as the Vice President and Division Manager. In this role, he took a business that had been losing money for a decade and made it profitable. Mr. Dick holds a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
