Ms. Diane E. Morais has been President of Consumer & Commercial Banking Products at Ally Financial Inc. since March 27, 2017. Ms. Morais served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Ally Bank Corp. at Ally Financial Inc. since March 2015 until March 27, 2017. Ms. Morais has been part of the team that launched Ally's banking business in 2009. She is responsible for the deposits franchise, mortgage and corporate finance businesses, brand management and digital strategy. She also serves as the chair of the Ally Bank board of directors. Prior to her current role, Ms. Morais was deposits and line of business integration executive for Ally Bank. In this position, she was responsible for oversight for the deposit business, ranging from marketing strategies, products and pricing and the overall customer experience for the bank. Ms. Morais joined Ally in May 2008 as Deposits and Product Innovation executive. Prior to joining Ally, Ms. Morais previously held a variety of senior leadership positions during her twelve years at Bank of America, serving as the deposit and debit products executive, national customer experience executive, card services marketing and consumer mortgage vendor management executive. Ms. Morais also spent nine years at Citibank's credit card division in a variety of marketing, risk and finance roles. Ms. Morais holds a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University. She is a board member of Sow Much Good, a non-profit organization committed to growing healthy communities in underserved neighborhoods.
