Mr. Timothy M. Russi, also known as Tim, serves as the President of Auto Finance at Ally Financial Inc. Mr. Russi is responsible for developing the strategy and driving the performance of the auto business. He served as the President of The Bank of America Auto Group. He served as Executive Vice President of the North American Automotive Finance Operations at Ally Financial Inc. since September 2009. He was responsible for overseeing the performance of the U.S. and Canadian automotive financing operations. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Automotive Finance and Insurance and Chief Operating Officer of its North American auto finance business. Prior to joining GMAC in October 2008 in his role as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Russi worked for Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company as a Senior Advisor to GMAC since early 2008. He served as the President of Dealer Financial Services at Bank of America since 2004 and also its President of Auto Group. He has business and financial services industry experience including other executive roles in retained executive search, sales, leasing, consulting and public accounting. He has more than 25 years of business and financial services industry experience, having previously served in management and leadership positions at US Leasing (a Ford Financial Services company), Deloitte, DHR International and Ernst & Young. He serves as a Director of RouteOne, LLC. He is a certified public accountant and is Six Sigma certified. Mr. Russi has a bachelor's degree in managerial economics from the University of California at Davis.
