Dimitri J. Nionakis — Partner at Alston & Bird

Mr. Dimitri J. Nionakis serves as an Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of Admirals Bank and serves as a Member of Executive Team. Mr. Nionakis is responsible for directing the Admirals Bank's legal and regulatory affairs and for overseeing its Compliance Department and also serves as its Community Reinvestment Act Officer. Mr. Nionakis is a partner of Alston & Bird, LLP since July 2005. Mr. Nionakis was a partner at Howrey. He has nearly 20 years of combined legal experience in private practice and the public sector. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Nionakis served as Associate Counsel to President Bill Clinton. In this capacity, he counseled and represented the President, the White House, and senior White House staff on investigative and privilege matters, civil litigation, government ethics and official programs. He also developed and executed communications strategies for numerous matters. He served as an Editor of the Case Western Reserve University Law Review. Mr. Nionakis received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish, cum laude, from Middlebury College. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University.
