There are multiple departments at Alta Resources, and each of them has their own mini culture. Some of the teams are great to be a part of, but some of them are terrible. I've been on both types of teams, and the team I'm on now is my favorite and I hope to be on it a long time.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They communicate with one another in an effective manner and help with questions someone may have.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're friendly and personable. I feel that I can approach them with anything and they'd listen and help.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that they didn't ask any trick questions or play any games. They were straightforward and honest.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Alta cares about its employees and wants them to succeed. They also support the local community and those in need.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Health insurance premiums are far too high, and the healthcare coverage is terrible. Unless you have a serious accident where you incur thousands of dollars in medical bills, the insurance doesn't cover anything.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love that I work third shift when it's the most quiet. I can do my job well while not feeling stressed because I have back to back customers to care for most of the time.
