Nicholas Grund — Executive VP & Chief Commercial Officer at AMAG Pharmaceuticals

Mr. Nicholas Grund, also known as Nik, has been the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 4, 2016. Mr. Grund has to AMAG more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including several global senior-level executive roles in sales and marketing. He joins AMAG from Genzyme Corporation, a Sanofi Company, where he spent the past 13 years in business leadership roles, mostly as the leader of the company's rare disease and multiple sclerosis franchises in Asia Pacific and Canada. Mr. Grund served as Senior Vice President of U.S. Commercial and Associate General Manager for Renal at Genzyme Corporation and served as its Vice President of Renal International & Europe; Vice President of Renal Commercial Operations; and Director of Finance, Renal. He served Managerial roles in Finance, Reporting and Analysis at Bayer Diagnostics. He served as Manager of Financial Budgeting and Planning at SAPPI Fine Paper. He served as Senior Financial Analyst of Red Kap Industries. Mr. Grund holds an M.B.A., from Northeastern University and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
