Executive Bio

As Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer for AMC Networks, David Hunter is responsible for overseeing the company’s global technology and operations across all business units.

Hunter provides strategic leadership across a variety of functions including information technology; media operations and content delivery; cybersecurity; and the development and deployment of AMC Networks’ digital products and properties, including advertising and subscription-based products, websites and mobile applications.

Hunter brings more than two decades of experience in technology and operations having served in a variety of senior executive positions in the consumer brand and print industries. He joined AMC Networks in September 2016 from Cenveo, Inc., a global manufacturer of print-related products. Prior to Cenveo, Hunter held senior technology positions at R.R. Donnelley, Nestle, and PepsiCo. He began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen LLP and Saint-Gobain S.A.

Hunter received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Delaware.
