Mr. David M. Feinberg has been an Executive Vice President of American Electric Power Co., Inc. since January 2013. Mr. Feinberg serves Secretary and General Counsel of American Electric Power Co., Inc. since January 1, 2012 and served as its Senior Vice President from January 1, 2012 to December 2012. He serves as Secretary of Appalachian Power Company and Public Service Company of Oklahoma. He has been the Secretary of Monongahela since October 2006. He served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Southwestern Electric Power Company since January 1, 2011. He served as Secretary of Allegheny Generating Company since October 18, 2006. He served as the Vice President and General Counsel of Allegheny Generating Company and Monongahela since October 2006. He served as Vice President and General Counsel at Allegheny Energy Inc. from October 18, 2006 to 2011. Mr. Feinberg served as the Secretary of Allegheny Energy Inc. from October 2006 to 2011. He joined Allegheny in August 2004 and served as Deputy General Counsel until October 18, 2006. He served at Allegheny as Senior Litigation Counsel and Corporate Compliance Officer. Mr. Feinberg served as a General Counsel and Senior Vice President at American Electric Power Service Corp. since May 2011. Prior to joining Allegheny, he was a Partner with the law firm of Jenner & Block LLP in its Chicago office until 2004. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Technology at Harvard Law School. Mr. Feinberg served as a Clerk to the Honorable Joel M. Flaum of the United States Court of Appeals before beginning private practice with Jenner & Block in Chicago. He serves as a Director of Ohio Power Company, Public Service Company of Oklahoma, Appalachian Power Company and of Southwestern Electric Power Company. He served as Director of Allegheny Generating Company. Mr. Feinberg holds a Juris Doctor Degree from Harvard Law School. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
