Ms. Lisa M. Barton has been Executive Vice President of AEP Transmission Holding Company, LLC since August 1, 2011. Ms. Barton serves as Vice President of Appalachian Power Company and Public Service Company of Oklahoma. She serves as the President of Electric Transmission America (ETA), a joint venture between AEP and MidAmerican Energy Holding Company. She served as the Senior Vice President of Transmission Strategy and Business Development at American Electric Power Co., Inc. from November 2010 to July 2011. She served as the Vice President of Transmission Strategy and Business Development at AEPSC from October 2007 to November 2010 and served as its Managing Director of Transmission from September 2007 to October 2007 and Director of Transmission Planning from December 2006 to September 2007. She joined the AEP in 2006 from Northeast Utilities, where she was responsible for transmission strategy, regional transmission organization relations and compliance. She serves as a Director of Amethyst, Inc., Appalachian Power Company, Ohio Power Company, Homeless Families LLC, Indiana Michigan Power Company and the Columbus Museum of Art. She serves as a Director of Southwestern Electric Power Company and Public Service Company of Oklahoma. She is a Member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts state bar associations. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass., and a Juris Doctorate degree in 1993 from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Mass. Ms. Barton is a graduate of The Executive Program-Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a 2010 International Women's Foundation Fellow.
