The company was run well for many years, and people were happy. The last 5-6 have been difficult. The most frustration comes from a new software conversion in 2013. The software doesn't work as promised, and it feels like we are just spinning our wheels daily.
What makes you most happy at work?
The interaction with my staff and co-workers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They really care about each other and the company.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to employees and respecting what they have to say.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people. They rally around each other as well as the company mission and vision.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I have been with the company a long time, so much has changed. I seem to remember there being good communication.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't see how my value can be assessed when Leadership and Human Resources has no idea what I do. I would like my manager to spend time with me. I would like higher-ups and HR to look at the results of my work as well as how I bring people together.
