Pretty good culture in almost all respects. Maybe a little stressful at times but lots of collegial teamwork too. The people here are OUTSTANDING

Chris is great and really dedicated to the cause, as well as his business and his employees. More communication is definitely required though. We all are here, and dedicated! Please take that to heart and know we'll hear you when you communicate in advance and anticipation.
Very principled, fair, honest, hardworking — genuinely and deeply cares about the company, its mission, and its employees. Is very harddriving, can be very intense — could do a better job at communicating internally about company progress, goals, direction. Could make himself more accessible... should do less and delegate more but overall a genuinely good person and a very effective leader.

Depends and varies. Some long hours and some travel but lots of flex time and real effort to make life/work balance possible.
Excellent. Management encourages rest, breaks and does not expect 24/7 connectivity, except in emergency situations.

very ad-hoc, no formal request for interns, most are introduced via family members who work within the company. previous iterations have included a more formal process
What's the work from home policy like at American Prison Data Systems?
Sensible, rational, very fair. Not a “you have to be here” to be effective place - much more focus on getting the work done as opposed to where is the work done.
Does American Prison Data Systems have any remote positions?
Yes, there are a few people who work remotely and they come to the office either once a month or one day a week. There is a lot of flexibility for people who work from the office to work at home or on the road. It's been pretty refreshing to have that as an available option.
