He held many senior positions with Ametek as Vice President and General Manager of Aerospace and Defense from October 1, 2003 to July 2008, Vice President and General Manager of Dixson Division since January 2001, Business Unit Manager of Division's Heavy Vehicle segment since May 2000 and Director of Sales and Marketing for Dixson Division since December 1998. Prior to Ametek, Mr. Hardin served as Director of Engineering and Sales and Marketing Manager with Furon Company and was a Senior Project Engineer of McDonnell Douglas. Mr. Hardin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Webster University.
