Alison Moore — Senior Vice President of Process Development at Amgen

Dr. Alison Moore serves as Senior Vice President of Process Development at Amgen Inc. and served as its Senior Vice President of Operations Technology since January 2013. Dr. Moore served as Vice President of Amgen's Process and Product Engineering (P&PE) function, where she was responsible for Process Development, Clinical Operations and Global Operations Planning. She served as Vice President of Amgen's Corporate Manufacturing function, where she oversaw Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing, Global Distribution, Manufacturing Technologies and Operations Risk Management. She served as Vice President of Operations at Amgen's Fremont, California, manufacturing facility (AFR). Before heading up the AFR facility, Dr. Moore was a director in CMC Regulatory Affairs at Genentech. Prior to Genentech, she worked nine years at Amgen in various positions of increasing responsibility within the Process Development organization. Dr. Moore holds a PhD in Cell Biology from Manchester University, England and a bachelor's in Pharmacology with Honors from Manchester University, England. Following her doctoral degree work at Manchester University, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Medical University of L??beck, Germany and at Genentech Inc.
