Liam Murphy ā Senior Vice President of Quality at Amgen

Mr. Liam Murphy has been Senior Vice President of Quality at Amgen Inc., since April 6, 2016. Mr. Murphy is responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Compliance, Operational Excellence and Environment, Health and Safety along with Training. Mr. Murphy previously served as Vice President of International Quality, responsible for manufacturing operations in Turkey, Brazil and Russia as well as the distribution and local release of product outside the U.S. Mr. Murphy joined Amgen in 2006 as vice president of Quality, Europe. Prior to joining Amgen, Mr. Murphy worked at Merck as Vice President of Quality after serving as Vice President of Safety and Environment. Earlier in his career, he worked as a manufacturing site Quality head and as a process development chemist. Mr. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the National University of Ireland.
