This year, AmTrust established our inaugural Executive Diversity Council (EDC). The EDC is composed of executives and senior business leaders representing different areas of AmTrust.
The mission of the EDC is to promote and support AmTrust’s ongoing efforts to be a diverse, inclusive and equitable Company. The primary function of the EDC is to support the creation of AmTrust’s formal diversity strategy by:
- ?Setting long and short-range objectives for workforce diversity, supplier diversity, corporate philanthropy, and community involvement
- Assigning priority to and monitoring corporate performance against the set objectives
- Monitoring corporate performance against marketplace benchmarks and best practices
- Supporting and evaluating company-wide D&I programs, policies and initiatives.
