Appirio cares about worker experience and make it easy to give or request feedback. What's actually done with it is unclear & inconsistent. You can't publish a response to feedback you've received (even to say "thanks!" or add context). There's no clear conflict resolution process. Some managers choose to interpret negative feedback at face-value rather than contextually. And positive feedback seems to carry no weight. Nothing is in place to keep that in check. Think of how Yelp works. Some businesses receive 20+ rave reviews that mention the same positive attributes, but then get 1 or 2 negative reviews depicting a one-off scenario. The business can respond, providing helpful context (and tone) to anyone deciding whether or not to do business there. The workplace feedback process should be just as balanced. The same individuals who throw tantrums on Yelp when they don't get their way (without mentioning their contribution to a scenario) also work somewhere, even at Appirio. Be aware.
