Arista Networks Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I like the RSU. I wish we got more RSU. I believe in the future of Arista and would like to benefit as the company as a whole benefits.

Review from Engineering Dept

Right mix of cash and stock incentives.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Stock incentives; and matching would be nice for 401k

Review from Sales Dept

It is good for a newbie

Review from Engineering Dept

Sales compensation not based on randomly figured quotas

Review from Sales Dept

Competitive and multi-faceted - base, commission, equity.

Review from Sales Dept

In general, the ability to work remotely improves my productivity and allows me to pick what types of work environment I need for the day (quiet and focused or social and collaborative). Specific to compensation, the FTA allows for flexibility and helps me visit my family during holidays and breaks

Review from Engineering Dept

Fair compensation package that is easy to understand

Review from Sales Dept

I didn't have to negotiate my base salary. I was given slightly more than I originally asked.

Review from Customer Support Dept

This is my first big job so I do not know

Review from Engineering Dept

rsu, stock, health care, etc.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The RSU plan and ESPP

Review from Engineering Dept

Employee stocks, free snacks, subsidized lunch

Review from Engineering Dept

time off, stock, working hours

Review from Engineering Dept

Stocks RSUs are great and they have so much growth

Review from Engineering Dept

FTA, full dental, and stock!

Review from Operations Dept

flexible commission, no cap, equity

Review from Sales Dept

Stocks is rising very well currently

Review from Engineering Dept

stoc and the ESPP program.

Review from HR Dept

While my salary is low, how Arista distributes RSU makes it a compelling salary.

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Our pay is way below the market standard

Review from Product Dept

Better base pay, at least industry standards should be maintained

Review from Customer Support Dept

Basic pay is not par with industry standards especially where cost of living is very high.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I think that sales comp plans could be better to align with what competitors or other tech companies offer.

Review from Sales Dept

Pay me a competitive salary. Give me health benefits that actually work. Health insurance costs me 4x of what it did at me previous job for only 25% of the coverage, for the most expensive option. Prior authorization policies keep my family from getting essential medication.

Review from Engineering Dept

I feel fortunate to be here, but comparatively speaking, base pay is somewhat low and there isn't much in the way of help for new salespeople while they build their business. I had to dip significantly into savings this first year which is not ideal.

Review from Sales Dept

Maybe raise to catch up with the inflation.

Review from Engineering Dept

For my current position, I feel like the compensation should be increased based on the increased workload across the 4 different regional teams I support. However, I believe that compensation will be very fair in my next role as I progress, so I keep that in mind. Overall, I do not feel undervalue

Review from Sales Dept

The commission structure should be increased very low in comparison to other organizations. Escalated pay for over 100% performance.

Review from Sales Dept

The caps of the income level per the specific role is prioritized. It does not give ones motivation to perform better in the role we are in, so each of us can serve the company better than past years.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The compensation for the job role doesn't meet the market standards.

Review from Engineering Dept

Arista against competitors are the lowest pay and lack of benefits.

The way the company looks at compensation is strange. To view a bonus and stock as part of the salary doesn't seem right. If stock tanks and no bonus is given due to companywide lack of performance, then effectively it would be like getting a pay cut since the company views these as compensation.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel that the pay structure is not at par with industry standard's and inflation in the economy.

Review from Operations Dept

In general, the initial hiring salary would be stayed while employed and no inflation adjustment, nor automatic salary increase by the performance. Only acknowledgement is yearly bonus and stock grants. There is not much distinguishment between the low performers and the high contributors.

Review from Engineering Dept

Base salary is not keeping up with inflation. Bonus is paid less than the target.

Review from Operations Dept

I was promoted to managerial with no additional compensation!

Review from Design Dept

I do not feel undervalued

Review from Engineering Dept

Valuation of my work is based off very limited experience, with consideration not given to the actual quantity of experience I have and can provide the company despite only recently joining.

Review from Engineering Dept

I would appreciate if there will be base raise based on my contribution to the team.
