What do you like best about the leadership team?
Always looking for a better way to do things. They love to hear new ideas.
Companionship and support, I love that
open door policy, everyone is approachable and on the floor at all times, ready and able to help.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership team needs to be better at engaging with workers and providing better pay.
The leadership team needs to be better at training. Well rounded training for all employees in every department.
Communication and transparency for everyone.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Day 1 matching/vesting for savings and very good insurance.
The money and the travel
The best part of the compensation package is the benefits.
Vacation time, paid holidays, time off
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Minimum wage for most people is around eleven dollars. Assurant starts out at twelve dollars. The wage needs to go up. Working for multiple clients, mandatory overtime.
We barely make enough money and the benefits are too expensive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are a diverse mix.
We are very united supportive and good companions
Their work effort and their ability to adapt.
Everyone works together, very encouraging, like a family
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
More structured meetings with actual content needed to be said in person.
Coworkers need to be better at helping one another and being team players.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Value the work done and compensate very well
The ability to be free and the managers trying to keep spirits up.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Adequate training, better pay/compensation, better paid time off benefits for new employees.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
It would be more beneficial if there are multiple interviewers, that they ask different interview questions. It was redundant being interviewed by two different managers who asked the same questions.
What makes you most happy at work?
Remuneration and the working environment
I love my supervisor and my shift.
My coworkers, being a part of a team.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am frustrated with management. My current manager rarely leaves her office, does not respond well to messages (both email and instant messages), and offers no support or guidance. I am new to the department, and my manager has not checked in to see how I am adjusting to the department.
