Mr. Keith W. Demmings has been President of Global Lifestyle at Assurant, Inc., since July 2016. Mr. Demmings is responsible for setting strategy, driving financial performance and leading Assurant's connected living lines of business, comprising its mobile phone and extended protection plan products and related services, as well as vehicle protection, credit protection and assistance services lines of business. He has been an Executive Vice President and President of Global Markets at Assurant Solutions Inc since January 25, 2016 and served as its President of Assurant Solutions International Business until January 25, 2016. Mr. Demmings is responsible for all business and products sold in Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and Asia as well as various international support functions in Atlanta and Miami. He served as President of the Canadian business unit since 2005, Regional President since 2009, President of China regional mandate since 2010 and Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for International Business of Assurant Solutions International Business at Assurant Solutions Inc with responsibility for drove recognition of Assurant Solutions global presence and promoted top line growth and bottom line results while executing against key financial metrics and strategic priorities. Mr. Demmings joined Assurant Solutions International Business at Assurant Solutions Inc. in 1997. as a Business Development capacity working from both Canada and the United States to develop new business opportunities within the retail division, focusing on both credit protection and extended service programs. Mr. Demmings holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria in British Columbia.
