Linda Recupero — Senior Vice President of Global Communication at Assurant

Ms. Linda Recupero has been Senior Vice President of Global Communication at Assurant, Inc. since April 2016. Ms. Recupero is responsible for designing and executing proactive communication programs to advance Assurant's brand and broaden awareness of its strategy. She lead Assurant's global internal and external communication activities and help highlight Assurant's corporate social responsibility profile. With nearly three decades of experience, Ms. Recupero has a wealth of business and communication expertise. Ms. Recupero served as an Executive Vice President of Group Public Affairs-USA of HSBC Holdings PLC. Ms. Recupero served as an Executive Vice President of Public Affairs at HSBC Bank USA, N.A. She served as an Executive Vice President of Public Affairs at HSBC Finance Corp. For the past two years, Ms. Recupero served as Vice President, and Global Head of Communication at Nasdaq, Inc. During her tenure, she oversaw a global team supporting external communication for Nasdaq and its business units. Ms. Recupero handled media strategy, crisis and issues management, story development, thought leadership and reputation management. Ms. Recupero served as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Practice Leader for MSLGROUP. She also has served in senior communication roles at Teneo Holdings, White & Case and HSBC. Ms. Recupero began her career working for and leading practices at two of the world's largest global public relations firms, Burson-Marsteller and Weber Shandwick.
