Robert Lewis has been Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, corporate technology group of Assurant Inc., since March 26, 2007. Mr. Lewis most recently served as executive vice president and chief information officer for Assurant Specialty Property. Prior to that he served executive vice president and chief information officer of Assurant Solutions since April 2003. Mr. Lewis joined Assurant Solutions in 1999 as vice president, application development, information technology. Prior to joining Assurant, Mr. Lewis was president of Electronic Commerce Systems, a software and services company. He also served as executive vice president for Checkfree Corporation and was president of the Financial Products Division for Servantis Systems. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University.
