Leon Wang — Executive Vice-President of International at Astrazeneca PLC

Mr. Leon Wang has been an Executive Vice-President of International at AstraZeneca PLC since May 3, 2017. Mr. Wang served as Executive Vice-President of Asia Pacific at AstraZeneca PLC since January 2017 until May 3, 2017. Mr. Wang is responsible for the overall strategy and the promotion of the sustainable growth of activities in China and Hong Kong, Asia Area, Australia and New Zealand. He served as President at AstraZeneca China in 2014 and served as its Vice President since 2013. He served as Business Unit Vice President at Roche and he has twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including a series of positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and business leadership. He serves Council Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Association of Foreign Investment responsible for Pricing of the R&D based Pharmaceutical Association Committee under the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, Corporate Advisory Board Member of China Europe International Business School. He is a guest lecturer at Shanghai International Studies University.
