Aura Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The medical plans offered are amazing and the company covers most of the premium so you're getting a great plan for a very low cost

Review from HR Dept

The best part of my compensation package is the combination of a fair and competitive salary with the flexibility of a fully remote work environment. This balance allows for both professional fulfillment and personal well-being. Additionally, our benefits package is outstanding and truly sets Aura a

Review from HR Dept

I can't complain. I think I am paid fairly/appropriately for my position.

Review from Operations Dept

Remote work, unlimited PTO, good insurance

Review from Engineering Dept

I love how pets have been incorporated into our benefits over the years, and considered members of our families.

Review from HR Dept

401K - unlimited PTO - top shelf benefit package

Review from HR Dept

Fair salary, great bonus plan and benefits.

Review from Marketing Dept

Competitive salary and bonus structure

Review from Marketing Dept

Paid fairly compared to the market

Review from Marketing Dept

The salary is competitive and I enjoy the unlimited PTO - which is a huge benefit. I find that our benefits (health, etc) are strong and don't find any fault with it.

PTO and sick time package

Review from Sales Dept

Unlimited PTO (and the ability to use it)

Review from Marketing Dept

Salary and unlimited PTO are the best parts of the compensation package.

Review from Marketing Dept

HSA matching and 401k matching has been great!

Review from Sales Dept

The bonus structure is fair!

Review from Sales Dept

The input you put in is what you get out. How hard you work correlates to your paycheck.

Review from Sales Dept

Unlimited PTO and paid volunteering

Review from IT Dept

EVERYTHING, insurance, profit sharing, volunteer days...

Review from Legal Dept

unlimited pto is a great benefit

Review from Legal Dept

Provides lunches, snacks, and drinks

Review from Marketing Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Keep improving benefits: 401k match, remote work perks, professional development!

Review from Customer Success Dept

Love working remotely, love the unlimited PTO policy. However, pay is 20-30% less than equivalent positions elsewhere, and the cost of living has risen much faster than raises. Would also like more opportunities for equity.

Review from Engineering Dept

I think i get paid less than my peers based purely on geography

Review from Engineering Dept

I don't really understand how compensation works, and while it feels I have done more this year I have smaller increase than previous year

Review from Engineering Dept

Few people get more base salary based on when/by whom they are hired compared to others even though they work at same or even lower position and their salary compared to workload is unfair

Review from Engineering Dept

Per Glassdoor and this website, I am grossly underpaid compared to the average here and at other companies.

Review from Engineering Dept

Easy: I am paid much less than the average salary for my position both at this company and elsewhere—which is totally unfair, given the heavy workload. Also, many of us have asked multiple times about when more eq

Review from Engineering Dept

I think other similar companies would pay me lot more with more stock options. They would give me more freedom in terms of budget and resources. I think I would like to get about 25% increment in salary.

Review from Engineering Dept

Base pay lower for similar positions plus lower bonus plus more stock options

Review from Engineering Dept

I don't feel undervalued, but a yearly bonus would be a great addition.

Review from Engineering Dept

Once or twice a year I look at the market and what they are paying for my skills and experience. Our pay is competitive, no doubt. But I do fall $15k-$30k short compared to some other places. I know I can work at those places because I've interviewed and gotten offers. I choose to stay for now.

Review from Engineering Dept

I love the benefits and love this company, the hourly wages just feel low for how demanding of a role it can sometimes be, requiring you to be constantly available throughout the day and gaining additional wages purely through comission, but other benefits and company culture are absolutely great.

Review from Sales Dept

I would like to have a higher base pay

Review from Sales Dept

I think the hours we work with not as much flexibility we should get paid a little more by the hour. Also, not having existing calls that hurt our conversion rate. ( I know ya'll are working on that) Other than that, everything else is good

Review from Sales Dept

I think as a growing tech company that is seeing its value increase we should be offered a more comprehensive package. This is including better perks for work from home office or gym benefits.
