More clear and consistent planning, more transparency around decision-making. Less corny AI fetishizing at all-hands meetings. And why pray tell are we now doing QUARTERLY performance reviews? If I have to go through this tedious process every quarter, I should also receive a raise every quarter.
Review from Engineering Dept
Clearer, more consistent direction. Distribute pay and equity more broadly, rather than simply enriching themselves.
Review from Engineering Dept
- Keep a direction/strategy longer than a quarter. Constant changes cause whiplash. - Hire and backfill again. If there's money to throw millions at Robert Downey Jr. and Red Sox sponsorships, there's money to hire people. We're all working too hard. - More transparency on decision-making

Keep improving benefits: 401k match, remote work perks, professional development!
Review from Customer Success Dept
Love working remotely, love the unlimited PTO policy. However, pay is 20-30% less than equivalent positions elsewhere, and the cost of living has risen much faster than raises. Would also like more opportunities for equity.
Review from Engineering Dept
I think i get paid less than my peers based purely on geography
Review from Engineering Dept
I don't really understand how compensation works, and while it feels I have done more this year I have smaller increase than previous year
Review from Engineering Dept
Few people get more base salary based on when/by whom they are hired compared to others even though they work at same or even lower position and their salary compared to workload is unfair
Review from Engineering Dept
It's not people specifically, but just lots of meetings that possibly could be resolved async.
Review from Design Dept
There is a lack of (balanced) feedback and self-driven initiative. Honestly, some coworkers seems like they're okay doing the bare minimum and not aspiring to achieve more. When there is feedback, it's very subjective and not enough data to prove a point.
Review from Customer Success Dept
There needs to be conversations. Everyone is on a limb on their own tree. No interaction, conversations or talk among the group.

"Moving fast" does not have to mean moving without consistent purpose and intention. It also does not have to mean randomly laying people off for no reason just for the sake of a "re-org."
Review from Engineering Dept
Lack of resources in almost every sectors which stops us from making better plan for future
Review from Engineering Dept
Too little consistency, too many meetings, and too low a salary
Review from Engineering Dept
We're all working too hard, due to positions not being backfilled. We're constantly whiplashing business direction. The executive team is largely out of touch with what us as employees want, as well as what customers actually want.
Review from Engineering Dept
It's more of a me problem. Not sure Aura can help.
Review from Engineering Dept
I can't think of anything really to improve - I enjoy working for Aura and am thankful every day that I get to be a part of this amazing team.
More engagement and chances for remote employees to meet in person occasionally
