Management needs to get better at recognizing the difference between great sales people and great leadership. Just because someone is great at sales does not mean their skills are transferable or that they possess leadership qualities.
Salary is probably slightly above average. Bonus can be good if you are a high performer. Profit sharing is an basically a 5-7% contribution to your retirement account(even if you don't put any money in). The benefits are pretty standard for what is expected these days.
401k and vacation. I do believe I am compensated fairly within our company, however in comparison to ofher pay structures, I believe the little bit of shortcomings disinfranchises reps to strive for their fullest potential. There are some stresses of the job not considered for fair compensation.

Small staff who are very friendly and helpful.

Local management takes a big interest in their staff.
Uplifting communication from all around. Some days we are all on a sinking ship and have to work towards the common goal of coming out on the other side alive. As a team we work hard and get thru it together. Staying positive in trying times isnt easy but when we come out on the other side, we won!!

Accountability, hold those who are subpar accountable for their actions whether it's in sales or service. Also have 1 on 1 discussions with employees to have them better grasp the goals and direction you'd like them to follow

They want quality people at this company and they have tools for weeding the ones they dont want out. Its a tough process but what you get on the other side was worth the wait.

I like problem solving and the fact that I get to know all of the bar and restaurant owners and chefs in the area.
My team makes me most happy! We all have an understanding that to get it done we have to band together and hustle. The majority of days, wveryone brings their A game and we get it done. That kind of comaraderie cant usually be found. The fact that I get to work with the team at #860 makes me happy!

High turnover, lazy employees and terrible training which causes new employees to be doomed from the start and continues a vicious circle.
