Mr. Dana Ruzicka has been the Chief Product Officer and Vice President of Avid Technology, Inc. since August 27, 2015. Mr. Ruzicka oversees product management, segment and product marketing and program management for the company. Mr. Ruzicka has a rich history with Avid and more than 20 years of extensive product management, business development and marketing experience in the media industry. During his tenure with the company, he served a wide range of customers from consumer audio recording and video editing, to professional post production and broadcast. Mr. Ruzicka managed Tier 3 growth initiative, focused on broadening Avid's brand presence in the creative artist space. Prior to that, he was vice president of Segment Strategy and Planning at Avid, where he oversaw marketing operations and planning for its key business segments 'Broadcast and Media, Pro Audio and Pro Video. Mr. Ruzicka has also served in additional senior leadership roles at Avid, including vice president of Post Solutions, where he played a key role in developing and launching Avid's ISIS shared storage platform; and vice president of Strategic Alliances, where he grew Avid's partnership program ecosystem to more than 600 connectivity partners. Mr. Ruzicka holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree, with an emphasis in Sound Recording Technology, from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
