Horribal Bank to work and to be a customer ( not profational at all )
Review from Operations Dept
I really liked working here. Promises were broken :(. Kinda sad outcomes.
For the most part, they had our well-being in mind when making decisions. They were open an honest.
Capable, intelligent, however not effective in managing BNPP oversight
Everyone is willing to listen and wants to help everyone be successful.
They are very innovative and welcoming for their employees' opinions. They embrace diversity and equal pay for women.
Allow people to fail and see it as a learning experience
They need to be more professional and be more honest the the customers abd with their employers
Review from Operations Dept
They need to retain their employees. Take covid protocol seriously. HR also needs to improve.
Everything - stop trying to reinvent what was already done well and acting like you are creating it new.
Focus efforts and resources on improving the tools needed for employees and clients to achieve objectives. Increase staffing. Improve training. Invest in technology. Stop robbing CX and sales in the name of operations and KYC.
Below but close to Mean Market Rate.
Bonus structure and employees profit sharing
Great base with stock options and annual bonus.
401K matching, health and all the other normal stuff but we also offer discounted identity theft protection and pre tax benefits.
The base salary, benefits, and medical plans.
one percent salary increase with a perfect score card
Insurance that is offered is all high deductable and it takes a chunk from your salary
I think this company works by Michael and Marco becouse even if they do a mistake they never get punished but if the other empolyes does then they get a rideup and a termention easily
Review from Operations Dept
This corporation needs to focus more on retaining employees not pressuring sales. Yearly increases should be more then 0.15
Work life balance for one
Collaborative but only on the high end of the Bell Curve. A lot of support cells who require constant attention.
Competent, efficient, extensive experience in specialized areas
My team is great. Exec Leadership is poor.
They help new team members, they are friendly and encouraging while still being highly skilled in their fields.
We all get along and have a good time while at work deter away from the hostility and toxic management
Review from Operations Dept
Management needs to improve! In the last 2 yrs we lost 5 long term employees due to the drama the managers create. Its mostly tellers vs management. Management needs to be examined more from higher ups. CEO talks anout being ethical and professionals but management is not that.
Stop creating mindless decks for everything
Greater confidence and competency. Improved critical thinking.
Older coworkers need to be more inclusive of younger employees and minorities. Management needs to step up and not allow employees bully each other and make other feel uncomfortable.
Review from Operations Dept
There is no team everyone is in cubicles so no interaction unless there's a meeting
Some very bright people who enable you to succeed through the average banking industry of looking back for knives.
Open to advancing learning, fast adapter of new digital platforms
Great hours. Great industry. Great clients.
We are sustainable!!! We are the future.
Employee health is given priority, customer experience is the key.
They need to shut down they don't know how to run a bussiness
Review from Operations Dept
It all comes down to management. Just because numbers are good doesnt mean the branch environment Is good. Everyone is unhappy. Employees should be taken care of not treated disrespectfully. At my branch managers calls us "the help." They even want to make comment about ppl of color and LGBT com.
There is a push to support certain groups while silencing those who do not fit in a certain group. Culture would be infinitely better if ALL people and views could be shared openly without fear of retaliation.
It is commonly known in organizational theory that it is the leader who sets the “tone and culture” of a group
Review from Operations Dept
The fact that they want perfect qc scores in less than a year. If you don't cut the mustard by then you're out.
it appears as if the company cares, key word appears
Casual interview with more in depth nuanced feedback.
Fun, easy, laid back, and no stress
Brought to town at company’s expens
It was fast and got hired quickly.
They need to be more professional
Review from Operations Dept
The branch manager pretty much talks about herself.
Work to live people, not live to work people.
Not having to worry about BNPP oversight
Rewards and recognition. Co workers.
That I have a tool belt to help me be successful!
Interacting with my team members and working on new technologies.
Retain employees! Take COVID protocols serious.
The bank has taken social and political stances in a way that have been very offensive to to those with alternative views. Employees lack the tools, resources, and support to deliver great CX.
Senior management needs to create a better culture for diversity and inclusion. Develop stronger environments for those who are disabled and minorities so they can be successful and not just white employees who are good at politics.
Review from Operations Dept
The CEO is who it really starts with. She doesn't seem to care about how horribly levels of management treat their employees.
Review from Operations Dept
The bank is being micromanaged by the BNPP 'overlords'. Being micromanaged is never conducive to a productive working environment. I have a feeling in the next 3-5 years BNPP will sell Bank of the West to one of our competitors and many of us will lose our jobs.
Work culture and the technology is innovative.
