He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice-President of Bell Aliant Preferred Equity Inc. since 2005. Mr. LeBlanc served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Bell Aliant Regional Communications Inc. at Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership since 2005. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Bell Aliant Regional Communications Holdings Inc., the General Partner of Bell Aliant Regional Communications Holdings, Limited Partnership since July 7, 2006 and also served as its Executive Vice President. Mr. LeBlanc served as a Senior Vice President of Bell Aliant Regional Communications Holdings Inc., since September 15, 2005. He served as a Senior Vice President of Bell Aliant Inc.(formerly Bell Aliant Regional Communications Income Fund and Aliant Inc.) since September 15, 2005. He was responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management within Aliant's operations, for delivering shareholder value and for ensuring the utmost in the integrity of management systems. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Bell Aliant of Bell Aliant Regional Communications Income Fund. Mr. LeBlanc served as a Vice President of Finance and Controller of Bell Aliant. He serves on the Board of Directors of Certified Management Accountants of Nova Scotia, the Greater Halifax Partnership and Feed Nova Scotia. He is a Member of the Editorial Advisory Committee of CMA Management Magazine and of Financial Executives International, a professional association for senior financial executives. In 2004, he received UNICEF's Champion for Children Award for outstanding community contribution. In 2005, He was named one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40(TM), from over 1,400 nominees, based on his achievements in the areas of vision and leadership; innovation and achievement; impact; community involvement and contribution; and contribution to Aliant's growth strategy. Mr. LeBlanc completed Bachelor of Commerce in 1989 at St. Mary's University of Minnesota and received his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 1994.
